Innovation and Business Centre of TuT, represented by mrs Tea Varrak and EstBAN, represented by mr Ivar Siimar signed cooperation agreement on long-term cooperation in the fields of research, education and public relations.

The parties will especially focus on commercialization of results of research pursued at TuT, such as, but not limited to new technologies protected by patents, utility models or copyrights in various stages of commercialization (from just-demonstrated inventions to spin-off enterprises looking for an investor).

The signing ceremony was held in Mektory building, which is currently under renovation, but will be open to all students since autumn. EstBAN is very impressed about the future opportunities for the TuT students and believes that new Mektory building enables fresh futuristic ideas to grow more rapidly in the Estonian technology and innovation start-up ecosystem.
