Sparkup Tartu Science Park aims to bridge the gap between science and business by offering accelerator and incubation programs for science-based start-ups on various technology readiness levels.
The programs focus on business-development skills while encouraging research and technology advancement. In addition, they offer start-ups participation in different short-term projects that are great for building international networks, with the help of ESA (European Space Agency) or EEN (Enterprise Europe Network). Sparkup Tartu Science Park understands the importance of connections well, being one of the architects of the sTARTUp community. Thus, everyday activities include sharing investor and mentoring contacts with start-ups, stocking workspace with plenty of coffee and hosting events that are equal amounts of networking and having fun.
