Meet third batch of New Nordic Leads Startup Investment Readiness training

The third startup batch of New Nordic Leads has kicked off with 33 innovative startups chosen from over 120 competitive applicants! Together with our mentors and coaches, we are bringing startups and their team in eight weeks as close to investor maturity as possible and prepare them for the next round of financing.

In order to provide startup with the best possible know-how and experience and to give really quick access to potential investors, we focus on the key topics such as: understanding investments process and investment types, valuation and productivity, legal documents and startup metrics, due diligence and practice pitch.

We are happy to share that 33 teams from Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine have started their journey. 

Before we get to the startups themselves, a few notes. After sharing a number of batch metrics, we pressed for a bit more detail on the makeup of the startups in the group.

More diverse than ever, this batch is ready to reach new heights: more than 40 percent of the startups have an international team and 33 percent of the companies’ founding teams include a woman. 

E-commerce sector is represented by Aufort, Pricetap, RAIKU

Data & AnalyticsSmartSender, Stardust, Storadera, Travatar, UPGRD

All of the startups mentioned that they want to hear feedback on the right investment approach and mentors helping to fill the gaps to make the investment value prop better, financials.

Construction field is covered by Mestamaster, OROCON, Adventum Tech 

Healthcare startups are  Northern Sports Insight and Intelligence, Ophtas, Phonolyser, AINOVA MedTech, HeBA.One, Henkaus, VITS. Founders seeking for those who are involved and understand the MedTech space, can advise them on the B2B sector.

Among Media, Marketing  and Creative Industries you will find AISPOTTER, Glostars, KLINEN, Maru VR, Salesframe, Sauti Kitabu. Startups hope the mentor will give them valuable insight about investment rounds and what things to consider when choosing investors. 

Manufacturing startups: Bide, DOERZ, The Boreal Project

Software and services: Adact, Talbit, TranslateWise, Dillali Tech

The last but not least, Hardware & Electronic Equipment MindChip startup is developing robotic vessels and situational awareness solution for currently manned vessels.
