Hedman is a new partner of EstBAN

11 March, 2025

Law firm Hedman and EstBAN have signed a partnership agreement to support each other in promoting the startup investing and boost both innovators and investors whatever they face when coming up with new world changing ideas or helping these ideas to root.

Hedman’s Managing Partner, Merlin Seeman, sees the partnership with EstBAN as a great opportunity to strengthen Estonia’s angel investor network, with a particular focus on supporting and empowering female investors. “So far, the potential of female investors in Estonia has remained largely untapped. However, I am confident that, together with EstBAN, we can help women take their first steps into the world of technology investing. At Hedman, we are developing practical resources to equip female investors with the knowledge and confidence to invest in startups and companies in their growth phase. We are always ready to support them with our expertise and insights into both the Estonian and European tech sectors,” says Seeman.

Karin Künnapas, Managing Director of EstBAN is happy to welcome Hedmas as the network’s new partner-member. “Hedman is a strong player in startup ecosystem and we’re excited to collaborate within events, knowledge-sharing and training. Our first bigger project together will be the awesome training series for Novice Female Angel Investors (Naisinvestorite arenguprogramm – ingelinvesteeringute ABC) starting already in the coming weeks.”

Happy collaboration!
