On 15 October, EstBAN brought together entrepreneurs, investors and members of the startup community for a pitch event featuring five companies from different industries. The presentations covered pet healthcare, smart gardening, sustainable packaging, defence technology and maritime innovation, highlighting how businesses are developing solutions to real-world challenges.
Abbis: Simplifying Pet Healthcare
Abbis presented a platform that brings pet health records, veterinary communication, AI-supported symptom assessment and laboratory analyses together in one place. The company discussed its expansion plans, including entering the US market, and outlined a €250,000 funding requirement to support product development, marketing and growth.
Click & Grow: Growing Beyond Smart Gardens
Estonian company Click & Grow combines smart indoor gardens with recurring sales of plant pods. According to its presentation, the company has sold more than 500,000 smart gardens and 12 million pods. It is now focusing on improving repeat purchases, simplifying its product range and strengthening sales channels. Its strategy includes returning to its core focus on herbs and using AI to better anticipate customers’ needs.
KIUD: Giving Textile Waste a Second Life
KIUD transforms textile waste into reusable packaging for industrial use. The company highlighted its commercial progress, reporting €300,000 in sales and more than 80 business-to-business customers, alongside its international growth ambitions. From Ideas to Growth
Despite operating in different industries, the five companies shared common challenges: reaching new customers, developing scalable business models and securing funding for their next stage of growth. All five are open for angel investors to join their ongoing rounds. If interested, please contact EstBAN team at info@estban.ee or our deal flow manager directly.
EstBAN events demonstrate the importance of connecting entrepreneurs with investors, sharing ideas and exploring opportunities for collaboration. Angel investors are often the first to back bold, unconventional ideas and support founders long before their business models have been proven. Their contribution goes far beyond capital, bringing valuable experience, networks and guidance to early-stage companies. At the same time, angel investing is inherently high-risk, and the possibility of losing the entire investment is very real. While successful exits demonstrate the potential rewards, they should never overshadow the risks involved.
