At the EBAN Congress Tallinn, there were five batches of startups pitching. Each among their own category. We had Connect2Scale project’s Innovation Showcase, Deep Tech startups pitch powered by Cassini, GreenTech and BioTech startup pitches powered by Bionanopolys, UN Women EXPO Global Capital Quest and Investing in Defense Tech powered by NATO DIANA. - Best innovation startup within Connect2Scale batch: CeleBreak is on a mission to become the leading sports community matchmaker. The app lets you find and join a football game in your city in under 30 seconds.
- Best green & biotech startup: Algaesys develops a unique high-performance algae technology wastewater treatment system with very low energy consumption, low lifecycle cost, net energy positive and a negative carbon footprint.
- Best Defence tech startup: Goldilock has revolutionized the way data, devices and infrastructure are protected on networks by allowing you to physically connect and disconnect anything from anywhere, in seconds without using the internet to do so.
- Best in UN Women Expo batch: Shipsider is the world’s first smart, modular, AI-driven cloud-based platform for combining pre-fixture, post-fixture operations, laytime and CP management in one go.
- Best deeptech startup: Orbital Paradigm is on track to create orbital infrastructure for human industrial expansion in space by building modular, reusable, and refuellable spacecraft.
Two special awards were given out by the Congress sponsors and EstBAN partners Klaar.me and KPMG. Congratulations to all the 53 startups that reached to the finals and could pitch ideas to top European investors and international crowd at the EBAN Congress Tallinn!
