On June 11th, the Estonian startup community and Finnish angel investors gathered for a relaxed and informal Summer Celebration, bringing together members of EstBAN, FiBAN, Estonian Founders Society, EstVCA, and many ecosystem partners, founders, investors, and supporters. The event was a great opportunity to take a break from the busy startup schedules and simply connect with each other in a laid-back atmosphere.
And this time, the gathering took place in a brand-new location in Tallinn where this was the first ever event held – the Hundipea quarters. Hundipea is envisioned as a future-proof neighbourhood developed with the input of a wide range of people – from urban experts and universities to students and local communities. It’s designed as a living testbed for future cities, where new ideas are tested, refined, and put into action – making it a fitting backdrop for a gathering of innovators and investors.
The evening started with short welcoming words from Karin Künnapas (EstBAN), Allan Martinson (Estonian Founders Society), Tiina Laisi-Puheloinen (FiBAN), and Kaari Kink (EstVCA), who briefly highlighted the importance of community, cooperation and ongoing exchange across the ecosystem.
The rest of the evening was fully dedicated to networking, catching up, and making new connections and dancing while DJ Ula — aka angel investor Priit Uustulnd — provided the soundtrack for the evening.
Thank you to everyone who joined – the Estonian startup ecosystem is growing stronger with every great connection and conversation held.
