EstBAN Angel Camp 2013: In order to build up the best exit, focus on supporting the founders to create value!

19 August, 2013

After the first full-day training event for its members in the beginning of June this year, EstBAN welcomed its members, supporters, startups and friends again  – this time in 1,5-days Angel Camp, which was held in Laulasmaa SPA & Resort last week.

Featured experienced speakers, ranging from leading super-angels and managers to national and European policy makers, provided a unique learning experience aimed to bring Estonian business angels to a new level of shared cross-border knowledge.

CEO of EstBAN Signe Viimsalu pointed out that during this Angel Camp our members learned how to manage adrenalin internationally, where is the growth in the future, what is expected from Startup Estonia 2.0, how to support founders of the startups in creating value, what’s hot and what’s not (even in sauna:), how to navigate the supervisory boardrooms, what Kauffman program may offer for us, what is the life of an angel (or group) in Los Angeles and Finland, what corporate structures are available in the US and … last, but not least, that the syndication is the key (challenge) everywhere!

Once again EstBAN expresses its sincerest gratitude to all great speakers Mae Hansen, Kristina NaruskLinnar Viik, Heidi Kakko (author of the valuable thought on exits), Harri MännistöFrank Peters, Jan Oker-Blom, Herty Tammo, Paul Herring and Mari Vavulski for their support and effort in making this event a great success.
